This Native American Cradleboard-Papoose Carrier-Baby Board is Beautiful & Soft with genuine red fox fur!. A Beautiful Authentic Native American Cradle Board – full size – handcrafted of very soft leather wood, feathers, beads and other materials.
The leather is beautifully tanned and supple softly covering a solid headboard.  The softened leather is then wrapped in a full genuine fox fur to keep the baby warm. This full size baby board has the medicine wheel hanging at the bottom center finished with beads and feathers. The soft sueded hide is attached to the board with round brass concho head tacks. There is a sturdy woven basket frame which serves to protect the baby’s head. The board measures 23.5″ long from top of board to bottom of board.  It’s 10.5″ wide (at widest point of the wood) The Fluffy fox tail fur widens out a little from there the  x 8″ deep. Navajo. Very sturdy.

This cradle board is in wonderful condition. The feathers at the head on the left, facing the cradle, seem a little roughed up like maybe they came off the bird that way. About Midway down again on the left, one of the feathers is broken and we have the part that broke off which we will do our best to either reattach or package with the Cradle. This is a beautiful specimen especially completely wrapped in fur!
